The Dirty Mitten is based out of Camp Manitou-Lin, in Middleville, Michigan, 30 miles south of Grand Rapids. The race begins with a swim in Barlow Lake followed by a bike ride on the gravel roads of Barry County. Finally, challenge yourself with a wooded run on the trails of Camp Manitou-Lin.
This event has both Sprint, Olympic & Half distances along with Duathlon, Aquabike, and Relay options.
In the spirit of bike racing, drafting rules will not be enforced in the The Dirty Mitten events. Click here to understand the differences between draft-legal and non-draft-legal triathlon. Drafting is not allowed on aerobars.
You will be asked to enter your current USAT Membership number during checkout. USAT Membership or One Day Pass is required to participate in this USAT Sancationed event. One Day Pass fee is $15.
